With spring around the corner, these lovely creatures have started to make appearances in the meadows . I have painted a few of them lately, all in loose and expressive style because this is the only way I see them- vivid, vibrant and cheerful. This one has been especially colorful, I felt a bit brave and put some intense blue and yellows instead of browns.
The actual image size is about 5"x7". I will ship the painting mounted with an antique white double mount with silver core; ready to fit a 10"x12" frame.

100% acid-free watercolor paper and W & N pigments
