Original artwork description:

While on the east coast of the United States, I had the chance to paint a couple of still life paintings using antiques from my family's collection. This painting and "Double Boiler" were both painted under very cool light conditions - just the opposite of what I have in my studio. I really liked the effect and I may invest in a cool light lamp.
