A simple moorland landscape painting inspired by the dramatic mountain scenery of the Cheviot hills and moors that straddle the southern upland border between Scotland and England, including Northumberland national Park, The range includes The Cheviot (the highest hill), plus Hedgehope Hill to the east, Windy Gyle to the west, and Cushat Law and Bloodybush Edge to the south. reaching almost the Pennine Hills. Painted in an impressionistic style in blue and dark magenta I have tried to capture the moody atmosphere of these high rounded mountain moors with their changeable weather and mountain mists..

Painted using quality artists paint on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
