Original artwork description:

This painting really came about because I had been sketching some images meant to be painted as a collection of quieter palettes, and simpleR images, for some galleries in the UK. From one of the sketches, this painting emerged. The pops of red add to the otherwise quite blue palette. I used acrylic in this case, almost as one would create an image in Watercolor or Gouache, or more closely resembling many of my works done on paper. I think the watered down effect adds a sort of dreamy feel to the image. The canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung, unframed if preferred.
