The watercolor painting "Blue Carpathian Mountains" was drawn from nature during my cycling plein air tour of the Carpathians in the fall of 2020.
⠀
Living in Verkhovyna is very interesting to explore the nearby hills. One fine day I climbed the Magurka hill (1400 meters above sea level) and I saw such an amazing landscape.
⠀
I began to paint, an aggressive local bull came up to me and growled, even two. They seemed to test me for endurance, I passed the exam and continued to draw.
⠀
Then, towards the end of the work, a pretty horse passed by. She stopped next to me, began to examine my work, apparently she is a connoisseur of beauty.
We made a joint selfie, after which this cute horse literally licked this work out of great love for art, apparently she liked the good taste of Italian paints with which I paint, on this we said goodbye to her.
Another job with a small but funny story.
The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.
Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.
All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
