Oct. 2023 / Abstract Acrylic Painting / Textured (8 Layers) / 16 x 20 x 1.5 on Gallery Wrapped Canvas. Sides will be painted to match the painting. I like building my canvases with layers of paint. There is a richness by doing this for this painting and many of the paintings I paint. The top layer I have created for the 3 Orange Boxes has Bright Aqua Green as the top layer. Below this I have Blue and Light Purple, and Gold colors which I have allowed to show up through the top layer. This gives the 3 Orange Boxes a presence to stand out in a bold feature. I have created in the 2nd half of the painting for the top layer a mix of Orange & Ochre blended together. Underneath the top layer I have Bright Aqua Green. I have added 4 Golden Lines and a small Blue Box in the lower portion to add a dramatic feel for the complete painting feeling. My personal aspect and feeling with this concept is an old Asian feeling. The painting has an abundance of Character that blossoms due to the 3 Orange Boxes. The texture, the lines, and the patterns have a purpose in all of my paintings. I want my paintings to be unique. The Brillance and Presence of my Orange Boxes gives a lot of power & presence in this unique Abstract I have created. I draw on an Asian & Middle Eastern influence as well a Prehistoric aspect with many of my paintings. I have painted this Abstract with a loose feeling as well. I created the painting blending with my palette knives.

I have placed felt pads on the 4 corners of the backside to protect the wall. And, so you are able to place the painting in 4 different ways. Golden Professional Archival Gloss Varnish Spray has been applied to protect the painting. Certificate of Authenticity included 1/1.

Lighting will be important for this painting or any other painting to bring out the brilliance of the colors. Also, Wall colors will be important for this painting or any painting. Play around with lighting and wall colors if you are able to do this with this painting or any other painting you purchase.

Note: I base my pricing on amount of time working on the painting, the genre, art supplies used, and Artfinder's % which is reasonable and good since they are promoting my artwork Internationally.
