The key subject matter of this oil still life is not the bottle. This artwork is about the light, the way it is absorbed and reflected by various objects. In this painting I continue my experiments with tones and compositional links. I intentionally made a high dark colour base line (horizon) in order to push the light colour to the front and increase its influence. The bottle here plays the role of a bridge between light and darkness. The still life for the painting was set with artificial light for a better control and unique body.

The artwork is in private collection, but the artist is open for commissions and may repeat the artwork if you really like it.
