Abstracted impressionistic painting.

I live surrounded by banks on two sides of my home. Grasses weeds and flowers proliferate! This forms to basis of inspiration for many paintings, including this one.

I love to use lots of watercolour like layers of quality acrylic paint, (Golden and Lascaux mainly) and build up the painting quite slowly, I then drop, and spatter paint to create a rich varied paint surface.


This painting is 30x90cm, it is unframed and has white painted edges. It is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
