Original artwork description:

The sun bears down brightly on the fields of eastern France. The wind blows through flowers, fields of grain and energy producing windmills. This painting is part of my "Renewable" Series - addressing the relationship of energy and the landscape.

It was inspired by scenes I sketched in eastern France during an artist residency in the summer of 2014.

As with all my work, this is painted on unstretched flat, unprimed canvas.
