Original artwork description:

I created a graduated watercolour painting with swirling lines and shapes, in purples, and pinks, with touches of red, black, white and light blue Posca Pen, and as well as white acrylic and gold ink.

Each of the three dimensional flowers is cut from the watercolour painting in three different sizes, and decoratively arranged in a graduating colour square in the centre of the frame.
They are attached to heavy watercolour paper within a white glazed deep box frame

The result is a vibrant and colourful modern relief design revealing individual flowers on closer inspection, with different shadows cast from the up-turned petals depending on the direction of the light.
