Spring is finally here and the blossom on the trees is looking stunning! Spring reminds us that there is always beauty to be seen in nature even when the news isn't always good!

This painting has been done on a large, square box canvas and painted around the sides to give a decorative quality and needs no framing. There are tones of pastel greens, lilacs, pink and white and different paint applications of acrylic and oul paint to give plenty of texture. I have used a palette knife to apply thick impasto oil paint for the blossoms, so tge surface is really tactile. This painting would make a great focal point and enhance any room
