I love the swirling intertwining way plants grow, in harmony together, in shape and colour.
Tis is one of my favourite things to paint. I start with a blank canvas and no reference other than my imagination and seeing where the pant takes me, this is how I approach my abstract paintings also.
Painted with very little brush work and then my palette knife.
All my paintings are packed with bubble wrap and thick cardboard for safe transportation.
I varnish with artists quality gloss varnish for depth of shape and colour.
