On this portrait depicted a good friend of my family Mrs. Galina Glazova. We got acquainted with her in the Christian brotherhood in St. Petersburg. She is an amazing person with a difficult fate who survived Leningrad's blockade in her early childhood. Currently, she lives alone in an apartment on Vasilyevsky Island, and it was a real gift for me the possibility to create this image during several painting sessions.
The painting was exhibited at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual exhibition 2021, which took place at the Mall Galleries, London
