Artwork description:

I imagine that even a Polarbear can get cold?

A 7 color linocut reduction, I cut away areas for each pull through the press, with 7 colors the print has been through the press 7 times, so slow and laborious it might be, but by far my favorite way of printing as there are surprises along the way, how the colors play together, and the final color to finish the whole print. I make my reductions in very short editions, only 14 prints in this case. When I am done, the lino plate is so cut away that it is rare I can print from it again, so this technique is also called lost plate.

I have signed, titled and numbered the print on the front, please note you might not receive the number in the photo.

Blizzard measures 39 cm x 46 cm (15" x 18") in actual printed area and
45 cm x 56 cm (18" x 22") in paper area, it fits standard frames with a custom mat.

I ship from my studio in the south of Denmark with many years experience in packing my art so it arrives safely (see my over 750 reviews).

Thanks for looking,
Mariann
