As I worked on this painting, my goal was to make the colors burst off the canvas, creating a three-dimensional effect that would immerse you in the artwork.
The central figure, a furry bumblebee, is flying straight into the heart of the explosion like it's diving into a new dimension.
But there's more to this painting than meets the eye. The explosion is actually a malfunction, and our little bee is flying headfirst into the danger zone to save the day
Blastbuzz is a sequel to my previous painting featuring bumblebees, and I invite you to join me on this journey into a new world of art, so stay tuned.
