Original artwork description:

This lovely mother hen with her chicks was fun to paint and collage. They'd look great on any kitchen wall or shelf.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
