Original artwork description:

My inspiration of this piece came from the black tulips from my garden, they were gift from a dear friend the color of the tulips are in a deep wine color which is almost black. I created this watercolor with paper cut by first painting the tulips in watercolor then by using an Xacto knife to hand cutting the background with the butterflies. all the white area in the back ground are from the backing.
