Before the discovery of the black swans, people were convinced that the swans were all white. Its discovery was such a shock to the world and therefore the name came to refer to events that carry large impact but are highly uncertain. Whatever the world seem to believe about these birds, however, they are stunning! They are elegant and loyal to their partners as do the white swans, at the same time there is an aura of mystery about them. In the sunset, when the season is about to change, these black swans are on their way home, peaceful and loving, just like us in our home!

The Gongbi Brush Painting is a unique and much cherished oriental painting style, dating back to around 2,000 years. The making of these paintings is like brewing wine, every bit of time devoted to it will add to its fragrance. This piece took around 30 hours to paint; The xuan rice paper is carefully chosen and has a subtle pearly shine over the surface.
