A contemporary oil painting, and original interpretation of the iconic artist and rockstar, David Bowie.

My painting is a tribute to his talent and creativity, and in the time since he passed seeing the extent to which he empowered people through art and storytelling.

Materials used:

The oil painted portrait has been delicately applied over layers and layers of thick grungy acrylic, with silver flecks mingled in for a dramatic finish.
