Insight:
This painting was born out of an intuitive work. I had a clear image of what I wanted as a result but got carried away with the process and am actually 100% satisfied with how it turned out. Somewhere in the middle of the process the realism flew into the abstract.
I think that with this painting begins a series of other abstract portraits. Stay tuned!
