Original artwork description:

I met John during an exhibition that I had at Bristol in 2018. He was a kind and gentle man who was very ill and needed to go to hospital to deal with a chest complaint. He could not go as he had nobody to look after his dog. I wanted to show this relationship between John and his dog and I wanted to demonstrate the uncertainty through the use of black and white as a background, black the impending problems and white the calmness of the current relationship.

This painting ships flat. Signed on the front. Ready to frame.
