An impressionist Scottish mountain landscape painting of Bla Bheinn or Blaven a jagged rocky Munro on the Isle of Skye in the highlands of Scotland. In this painting I have tried to portray the atmospheric light of a bright sunny autumn day with the light shining on the golden bracken covered hillside with its small waterfall and the cooler blue of the Cuillin mountains in the distance. Painted in an impressionistic style on a lightly textured canvas.
Painted in autumnal colours of golden orange and blue.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a square format 18 3/4" x 18 3/4" (48 x 48cm) lightly textured canvas on board, framed in a modern contemporary square profile white limewash frame, with cord ready to hang.
