Inspired by the swifts swooping over the rooftops in southern Spain, this is a portrait of a village in a wide Mediterranean landscape. It came about through spending two works watching and listening to the flights and screams of the birds. The print has just won the McClures' Award at Printfest in Ulverston 2018.
