Original artwork description:

For years I went through life not paying much attention to the birds around me. Through my wife's persistence though I suddenly became aware of the once invisible world around me. I took me many months to learn the names of the birds I found in my area so I created this design to capture their beauty as well as to help educate others. To this end I created an open edition print, which can be found at my website, that includes their names. Although they are not sized correctly to each other I do believe I have captured their color and maybe some of their character.
