Original artwork description:
I use canvas or wood panels. First layer is filled with washes (both thin and thick), various texturing items ( comb, dry brush or pouring) I build up multiple layers. When the surface is dried I manipulate it by sanding or scratching. More layers are added by repeating this process. Oil paint is used for final layer defining shapes, referencing birds and nature.
Materials used:
Oil paint, broad tooth comb, multiple layers of paint.
