The technique of combining the looseness of acrylic with the hard outlines of the black ink designs is a technique just used only by me in my artistic expression.
I admire birds and this bird painting highlights birds in flight in a lush array of exotic flowers. The brilliant colors of flowers are in contrast with black and white leaves leaving the feeling of a modern or contemporary painting. This contrast between reality and fiction adds a more dramatic look to this flower and bird painting.
The exotic birds are created using traditional painterly technique along with hard edged ink painting usually found in digital art.
The background is subtle and allows the brilliant flowers and birds to take center stage.
