Original artwork description:

Acrylic color on acid free watercolour paper, 19.5 x 25.5 in., 50 x 65 cm.
My garden is a real jungle, an orchid jungle. This attracts plenty of interesting critters, and slowly I’ve been collecting photos and sketches of some of them. Now I’ve started turning some of those images into paintings. This one’s inspired by the smallest, cutest birds that nested in my orchids in the front yard.
The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.
Then there’s the work in progress and me holding up the painting.

Materials used:

Acrylic colour, acid free watercolour paper 285gm
