The inspiration for the print was a rough driftwood birdhouse, perched on the railing of an outdoor deck framed by cedars and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, at a tiny cabin we were staying in.
This small hand-carved, hand-printed linocut, hand-coloured with archival water colour, is part of an edition of only three prints, misplaced during a move of residence and only recently rediscovered.
