The inspiration for the print was a rough driftwood birdhouse, perched on the railing of an outdoor deck framed by cedars and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, at a tiny cabin we were staying in.
This small hand-carved and hand-printed linocut is part of an edition of only six prints, misplaced during a move of residence and only recently rediscovered.
