This time of year, the birds are having a feast, as I dig my garden, getting it ready for summer.

This is a very traditional linocut, I do like the look of the cut, showing my hand in every print, carving the lino plate is a labour of love, and making it several colors, means that for every color, the print goes through the press again, time consuming, but oh so satisfying! My favorite printmaking technique and one that celebrates the art of handmade prints.

The piece of bright white heavy weight printmaking paper measures 36 cm x 54 cm (14" x 21") and the actual lino plate,
the printed area measures 25 cm x 44 cm (10" x 17")

I have signed and numbered each print in this short edition of only 14 prints, please note you might not receive the number in the photo.
