Original artwork description:

I’ve just moved into a Vintage Beach Cottage in Southern California, and am very influenced these days by the Palette I am decorating in, and the mixture of patterns I am marrying throughout my little a House. In the course of settling in, I happened to find a painting hanging around, that I wasn’t tremendously fond of. So I set about painting out the image on the canvas, with the exception of two small bits. I wasn’t sure how I would “repurpose” these little ares into the new painting, but I discovered just the right incorporation for them in this new piece! This canvas has been a painted around the edges so it can be hung, unframed.
