Artwork description:

This Original linocut of a tower of birds has been printed using two lino blocks with the birds in black waterbased relief printing ink, and a meadow background in pale yellow ochre. Great gift for a bird watcher perhaps.

Having recently (2019) completed a further course in lino cutting I have been making more small and warm hearted lino print Artworks. The naive style, and individual marks made whilst each Artwork is printed by hand, produce a lively image and each print is unique with minor variations.

This print is 16cm X 24cm and appears 14cm X 19.5cm in the mount. It will be sent to you matted (mounted) in an 8" X 10" (approx 20 x 25cm) off white mount as shown ready to be installed in a standard frame. This print is from a limited edition of 100. I will send out prints in numerical order, you will not necessarily receive the print shown in the photos. I can send a photo of the exact one you will receive should you require it in advance. 200gsm printing paper, LIno printing ink and Indian ink
