For this piece I was inspired by the people living in the hotspots of the world. Having to experience constant terror having no escape from the war zones they live in - all that makes you understand once again that the world is not perfect. And there is nothing you can do about it.
Painting is my personal world where I have my own rules. So I painted a bird with people seeking for freedom they can hold on to. In my world that bird takes people from all the sadness to somewhere nice and safe.
It's a light textured original acrylic painting on canvas (65 x 90 x 1.5). Painting is painted around the edges, giving it a contemporary look and is ready to hang.
