Original artwork description:

Bird in a Rose Garden features my little bird perched in a rose garden.
The roses are inspired by a trip to Hill House, a Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed building filled with beautiful decorative textiles made by his wife Margaret.
Painted in acrylic paint layered with a glaze medium which allows rubbing back to reveal previous layers of colour and texture.
Painted on mdf canvas board.
