Original artwork description:

I am a big fan of Henry Moore's sculptures, his genius with large shapes still recognizable as human yet open to the imagination of the heart and mind. I enjoyed playing with the shapes in this figurative pose. The little bird came as an inspiration. Technically I used wax as a finishing medium to give luster and protection to the oil pastel.

oil pastel and wax on rag paper with white acid-free mat and backing
