In this series of works, I explore light and shadow, the colors of nature at different times of the year and at different times of the day and night. He took as a basis his observations of nature during travels in the Ukrainian Carpathians.

And I am also researching a new for me experimental technique of watercolor painting using additional tools that allow to achieve the effect of the integrity of the mass and shape of tree leaves without painting each individual birch leaf.

To some extent, this is a continuation of my creative experiments with new techniques of "action painting" in oil painting.

The works are made on professional watercolor paper of 300 grams of density with professional watercolor paints.
