Who doesn't love birch trees, that white bark against a changing backdrop. I love to paint birches in all sizes but this is a small one to tuck in a bookcase or a small spot in your home. It is done in a loose expressive manner using rich golden yellow and green as the backdrop. We can see a hint of mountains in the background.
