Painted on-site in my neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN. Features an autumn Birch tree in shades of lemon yellow, golden yellow and yellow ochre against a background of yellow and green trees and foliage. Running and dripping effects in the background have been created with casein paint, whose soft, matte texture contrasts with the glossier oil. Thicker textures in the foliage and birch tree bark have been created with a palette knife, while the more delicate branches have been painted with a brush.

This painting has a soft and mysterious feel while also displaying warm and inviting colors, and will bring a soothing and uplifting tone to your room.

This landscape would make a great addition to any home or work space. It could serve as a great focal point over the fireplace, couch, bed, or dining room table, or as a counterpoint to a larger artwork.
