Original artwork description:

Yellow, magenta, lime green and crimson. Large areas of selected colours are laid down with a pallet knife like a puzzle over the canvas. Then with a mixture of large brushes an my pallet knife I blend in sweeping movements across the surface. Each brush stroke creates an abundance of new hues and tones which bring the painting alive.
I really enjoy the process of painting in this simplistic and instinctive way. I work fast and try not to over think or overwork the painting. This allows the work to retain fresh and alive. The edges are painted black for contrast and it is ready to hang. This painting looks great above a bed or along a sofa but could suit any larger area of wall.
