This is an original oil painting a Red Stag by Sarah Eden.

The image is a striking study of a stag looking directly out of the painting, startled as his attention has been caught. The rich russets of the stag's shaggy coat contrast with the greens of the woods behind where just a snatches of skylight can be seen peeping through.

Sarah's work is much influenced by the countryside which surrounds her and her paintings often portray the animals that are so integral to country life in Wiltshire.

The painting is framed in a 2" painted cream scoop frame and is ready to hang with brass wire and D-rings.

6mm mdf triple primed with gesso
