Original artwork description:

Another difficult pose for a model to hold. The foot on the knee causes pressure points and means the right knee can not drift backwards or forwards as the negative shape (a triangle) it creates between the legs will be lost. Discussions of relationships. The models breasts creating the two balloon tops of a heart with her right rib creating the bottom of it. Loves lost. Memories - eyes closed.

White, grey and black conte pastel on pink sugar paper 30 x 42 cm (12 x 16 "). It will either be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing) or wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in cardboard depending on where it is being sent to.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: Images are included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.

On the reverse is a crude sketch of a model seated in yellows and blues exploring rubenism (shown in photo gallery). It does not show through to the other side. Mentioned so you have no surprise on the receipt of the piece.

Materials used:

Conte pastel
