Original large- extra-large cityscape painting. Oil over acrylic underpainting on canvas stretched on a wooden frame. Inspired by downtown New York City and Philadelphia, the painting is a metaphor for any large urban environment, human habitat from concrete and stone.
The master-quality material has been used. Using oil over acrylic technique allows for achieving the brightness of colors and richness of texture. Heavy impasto builds with brushes and pallet knives. Edges of the painting are covered with archival white linen tape for a clean contemporary look. No need for framing. It is ready to hang without framing. Signed on the front.
