Collagraph print of leopard and tiger, sold as a pair.

The overall size of each print is 20w x 27.5 cm and the image size is 14.3w x 22.0 cm

I have included an image of a collagraph plate which gives you some idea of how the print is made. There are 6 full pairs of both cats as the tiger printing plate as deteriorated from applying ink and wiping it off.

Please note that collagraph printing is an handmade process so not all prints will be identical

Printed on 250gsm cartridge paper .

A Collagraph print is one made from a plate with different textures. The printing plate is made from mount board. The process is a combination of intaglio and relief.

I created a collage of my image using fabrics, glues adhesive and then sealed and dried before printing. The beauty of this process is the way all the colours merge together when printed and no image will ever be the same.
