Artwork description:

Fish are marvellous things, and I have tried to make a really happy print to brighten any room, maybe for the fisherman in your life?

WHAT IS A LINOCUT?: a hand printed, hand inked linocut, I cut the lino shapes, ink them up and put them through my etching press, for every print the fish have to be inked again. This also means that small color variations can occur. I print these prints quite free hand, so the number in the edition is there more to give you an idea of the number of prints created with these shapes, rather than exactly the same prints. You can also commission colors of your choice!
For this print I chose a piece of crisp white printmaking paper to offset the really bright red.

EDITION: As I choose different papers to print on, and print the fish in different colors, no print will ever be exactly like the next, I will vary colors etc through the edition, so an edition of 50, is there to give you an idea of the number of prints I will make using my fish, a very limited edition!

SIZE: "Big Boys" is printed in gorgeous bright red, on a piece of beautiful printmaking paper.
This print measures 14" x 20 " (35cm x 50 cm)
I have signed, titled and numbered the print.

SHIPPING: I'll mail it to you from my studio with many years experience in packing my art, see my over 800 reviews.

Thanks for visiting, and welcome back!
