The Apple Store Chicago with its Mac-Book ultra-thin roof, glass walls and spectacular views, captured by photographer William Dey.
Every design feature minimizes the boundaries between the interior and exterior, including the ultra-thin roof and 32-foot glass walls. The architects also tapered the metallic-colored roof’s edges so it visually rests more lightly on top of the glass walls.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this artwork will be donated to the Chicago Architecture Center.
