Original artwork description:

I paint because I am bruised by beauty..
A joy so profound that it hurts
An ache so silent that it nourishes

I paint because I am kissed by light
A glow so soft that it glistens
A fire so bright that it ignites

I paint because I am struck by colours
A blue so deep that it slips
A pink so delicate that it shivers

The series BEYOND starts from the point of my firm belief that there is much more to life than the human eye can see . Physical life is almost like a movie playing on a screen .But we all know that film is projected through a device of light source which falls on the screen in a dark room . My journey, is to reach that beam of light ,that source of divine energy which plays a karmic dance on life-screen .From this emanates my series of painting called 'beyond' . Its an exploration to see beyond what meets the eye .
An exploration of what lies beyond perceptual world .

This is a set of two paintings and is inclined towards spiritual abstraction and contains a poetic patter of acrylic and resin to bring the luminosity and mystery of the process of enlightenment . It expresses the indications of an internal transformation of the journey towards the higher consciousness , when we encounter more meaningful coincidences in our lives ,and finally we accelerate to the point of experiencing the miraculous . It can be sold separately for £900 each piece .
The work is done on clear transparent perspex with numerous thin layers of transparent colour and finished with liquid gloss all over . It seems to be very deep and several times has attracted viewers during exhibitions to be actually getting close to see what it is or how deep it is . It has a very subtle surreal luminosity to it and every time that i have exhibited this work ,it has garnered the most amount of attention . The works have been framed to the highest standard by a master framer and is of oak . It gives the impression of colours floating on the wall . It has been a key piece during many exhibitions . It is an attempt to blur the lines between painting and sculpture and is a unique work in its own right .

Materials used:

perspex,acrylic and resin
