Original artwork description:

From the Dark Hills Series, this mosaic came about by my fascination of the rich bright colours of the sunset in the autumn and winter and the contrasting dark shadows on the land. The sun seems to beckon us, a promise of golden light and joyfulness in another land streaked with reds, oranges, maeves, and bright pearly whites. This time I watched the sun setting between the darkness of hedges either side of me.
The mosaic is made for an indoor space, it is not suitable for outdoors.
