This portrait depicts the aspiring artist Elizaveta Bugrova. The work was inspired by the beautiful combination of cold, almost white, skin and fiery ginger hair which was accented by a blue dress. Such a combination, coupled with the model's elegance and flexibility, is a real dream for any painter.
Another feature of this portrait is that it has been created during my studies in the workshop of Prof Yuri Kalyuta (Academy of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg) allowed me painting in co-authorship: an attentive viewer can easily notice the recognizable strokes of Prof Kalyuta on the girl's face.
