ABOUT THE ARTWORK:
My paintings are not portraits, I paint the people I find in the painting. I have always been able to pick out faces in almost any pattern, wood grain or tufts of carpet tend to grin back at me. As a child I could only fall asleep with my back to my pink flowery wallpaper as there were so many faces in it. I understand exactly how the cave painters perceived the shadows in the uneven surfaces seeing them as familiar beasts, and also their desire to give life to them with paint.

Acrylic paint and mixed media on stretched canvas.

The sides of the painting are painted black, so no frame is needed.

READY TO HANG:
All canvases are fitted with saw-tooth hangers to enable easy hanging. My paintings on canvas do not need framing as the sides will be painted and every canvas is shipped ready to hang.

SHIPPING:
All paintings are packed very carefully in cardboard boxes (recycled where possible) with generous layers of bubble wrap to protect them.
All orders will be processed and shipped within 3 business days.
Once shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking details and expected delivery date. If you require a specific date for delivery just let me know.
All deliveries will require a signature on delivery.
