Bertie is a fine funny fellow and I have loved painting him. Cows have such funny faces and are curious creatures but Bertie's expression just makes me smile.

Painted on rough handmade paper, I have used a pen and wash technique with lots of wet in wet paint that doesn't stick to the lines making it a dynamic work,

I'm sure you'll agree he's a bit special.
